so Sam made a journal entry, and yes, that's pretty much exactly what happened- he was looking at Derrick J. Wyatt's style, mostly his representations of bots and cons in Transformers Animated, and other people's take on the style. i was kinda miffed there were very few "female" bots, so i wanted to make my own. his style is really "toynetic" and fun, so i decided i was gonna draw my own ladybot, and our lovely purple PT Cruiser would be the inspiration.

so Sam laid down the challenge and i said HELL YEAH LET'S DO THIS SHIT

...that was many hours ago and i've been stagnating all day just cruising tumblr.
